Yes! Humble Shepherd offers dog waste removal services year-round—even in the winter. Rain, shine, or snow, we’ll be there to keep your yard clean. In snowy conditions, most waste is still scoopable, and we do our best to stay on schedule so your yard doesn’t get overwhelmed when things start to thaw. No matter the season, you can count on us to show up and serve.
Humble Shepherd offers service plans starting as low as $56.25 per month. Final pricing depends on your yard size, how often you’d like service, and how many dogs you have. Most of our clients typically pay between $95 and $135 per month for regular, reliable cleanups. We’ll work with you to find the plan that fits your needs—and keeps your yard clean and fresh all year long.

Service Process & Yard Details
At Humble Shepherd, we clean every part of your property where your dog leaves a mess—including front yards, backyards, side yards, flower beds, and dog runs. Whether it’s your pet’s favorite corner or a hidden spot along the fence line, we’ll make sure no waste is left behind. Our goal is to leave your yard clean, fresh, and safe for your family—and your furry best friend.
For the safety of our team and your pets, we kindly ask that all dogs be kept inside or securely separated from the service area during your scheduled cleanup.
Even the friendliest dogs can react unpredictably to strangers or equipment, and every technician may have different comfort levels around animals. Keeping pets indoors helps us work efficiently and ensures a smooth, safe experience for everyone involved.

At Humble Shepherd, the safety of your dog and your home comes first. We clean all of our equipment and shoes between each yard using a kennel-grade disinfectant to prevent the spread of germs and protect every pup we serve. After each visit, we take gate photos to give you peace of mind that your yard is secure and your pet stays safely inside. As a locally rooted business, we hold ourselves to high standards—so you can always trust who’s serving your home.
Absolutely—you can request a specific cleanup day! While availability may vary depending on your location and route, we’ll do our best to give you 2–3 scheduling options that fit your needs. We know every household runs on its own rhythm, so we aim to make our service work around your life—not the other way around.
We don’t provide exact arrival times for our cleanups—but we promise we’re coming! To keep our routes efficient and costs low, we optimize our schedule the night before based on location and drive time. While we do our best to consider your preferences, our priority is making sure every yard gets cleaned safely and consistently.
All subscription payments are due on the 1st of each month, before any services are performed. If payment is not received by this date, your account will be automatically paused, and no services will be provided—regardless of your schedule or service frequency.
If payment is not submitted within 5 days of the due date, a $15 late fee may be added to your account. After 30 calendar days of non-payment, a 3% monthly interest charge will be applied to the total unpaid invoice amount.
Clients experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact Humble Shepherd before the 5-day mark to discuss possible payment arrangements. Any alternative arrangements must be mutually agreed upon in writing and do not guarantee continuation of service without payment.
Partial payments or verbal promises to pay later will not reinstate service. Service will only resume once the full balanceis paid.
If the balance remains unpaid after 30 days, Humble Shepherd reserves the right to initiate collection procedures, which may include third-party collection agencies or legal action. Clients may also be held responsible for any additional fees incurred as a result of these actions.
By signing up for service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that unpaid accounts will not receive service and may be subject to additional charges.
If you sign up for Humble Shepherd’s services after the 1st of the month, we’ll calculate a prorated fee based on how many cleanups remain for that month. This way, you only pay for the services you actually receive—nothing more.
The prorated amount is due immediately at the time of signup to begin service. After that, your account will move into our regular monthly billing cycle, with the full subscription amount due on 1st of each month moving forward.
Example:
If you sign up on the 15th and you’re on a weekly service plan, you’ll be billed for the 2 remaining cleanups that month. Then, starting the 1st of the next month, you’ll be charged the full monthly rate going forward.
By signing up, you agree to this prorated billing process for new mid-month signups.
You can easily manage your subscription through our secure Customer Portal, powered by Stripe. No Stripe account is needed—just click the link we provide, enter your email, and follow the prompts to access your billing details. From there, you can:

View invoices and receipts
Cancel or pause your service
Review your subscription plan

Waste Disposal & Cleanup
At Humble Shepherd, we’re committed to keeping your yard clean and your costs low. In Horace, ND, we follow local waste regulations and do not haul away pet waste, which would require special permits and add transportation and disposal costs to your service.
Instead, we offer flexible on-property disposal options—giving you control without the added expense:
We’ll double-bag the waste and place it in your trash bin, if available
Leave it neatly in a designated area of your choosing (e.g., side of the house)
Deposit it into a pet waste compost bin or digester, if you use one
Or follow any reasonable, on-site method you prefer
If customer demand calls for it in the future, we’re open to offering off-site disposal options in a way that keeps things cost-effective and compliant with state regulations. But for now, we believe in keeping things simple, transparent, and affordable—just like your yard should be.
